10am - noon: ATS Fast Combos with Zills
Finger cymbals (zills) are an important artistic element of ATS. Polish up some fast steps, and learn the nuances of playing your finger cymbals well so you create beautiful music and your hands stay energized.
$40 before October 15 / $50 after
1pm - 4pm: Advanced ATS and Manhattan Tribal Combos
Learn advanced-level slow and fast combos from within the standard ATS curriculum as well as creative variations & formations by Manhattan Tribal. New fun stuff!
Prerequisite: Knowledge of ATS Level 1, Level 2 recommended

Creator and Director of Manhattan Tribal, Mimi is actively teaching locally and internationally, performing and helping to foster a community for this eclectic modern dance format. Mimi has been a member of Vadalna Tribal Bellydance which she created with partner Naraya, Alchemy Dance Theater and PURE NYC, and in Cabaret Style Belly Dance, Maqamikaze Dance Theater -principal dancer and choreography coach, Serena Dance Theater - principal member.
Manhattan Tribal is New York City's first Professional ATS Belly Dance Company.
Mimi is certified by Fat Chance Belly Dance, the creators of ATS, to teach American Tribal Style Belly Dance, and is honored to be a FCBD Sister Studio!
